Thunder in the Mountains changes its to accommodate fans/soccer match

Tournament Director, Charleston Attorney, Rusty Webb announced today that Thunder in the Mountains, a Women’s Collegiate Tennis Tournament to be held at the Schoenbaum Tennis Courts adjacent to the Kanawha City Recreation Center on September 23 to 25, 2022 will change its schedule so as to place the West Virginia universities in a prime time and better accommodate fan interest.

Winter sports postponed once again

WEST VIRGINIA— In November, West Virginia Governor Jim Justice made the decision to push the start of winter sports back to January 11. As that date draws nearer, and the Coronavirus outbreak continues to run ramped, he announced on Wednesday that the start of winter sports has been delayed even further.

TCMS volleyball game recap

PRUNTYTOWN – The Taylor County Middle School volleyball team finished their 2018 season last week. Here are their results for their final games of the season. 10/8/2018 - The girls were on the road in Elkins. The Hornets won in the contest 2 to 1. Natalea Mumaw had three blocks, Caroline Wellman had three aces and Daisy Charlton had one ace. In JV action the Knights lost both sets to Elkins. Andie Toothman, Destiny Weaver and Autumn Ware all had one ace while Sierra Persinger and Toothman had one kill.
