WV Women’s Business Center brings resources and training for small business owners to Grafton

GRAFTON—On Monday, December 5, the West Virginia Women’s Business Center (WV WBC) will host a Community Day at the Taylor County Public Library in Grafton, WV from 10 am - 3 pm. 

The WV WBC Community Day will provide current and future small business owners in the area a variety of walk-in services. Throughout the day, WV WBC Business Advisor Kristen Beverage and lenders from Partner Community Capital (PCAP) and Woodlands Development and Lending will be available to speak with attendees. 

At noon, there will be a workshop available that aims to help you establish your brand, build a website, and grow your social media presence. The workshop, You Canva Do It: Build Your Brand + Business With One Simple Marketing Tool, will be presented by WV WBC Marketing Specialist, Hannah Fetty.

This event will also give attendees the opportunity to connect and network with fellow business owners in the community and with resources from around the state. These resources include but are not limited to: the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), Partner Community Capital (PCAP), the WV Small Business Development Center (SBDC), and Woodlands Development and Lending.

The WV WBC Community Day in Grafton, WV is the second of many Community Days to come throughout the state of West Virginia. The goal of these events is to connect entrepreneurs to the WV WBC and to other resources that can help them start, scale and succeed.
