The West Virginia University (WVU) Mountaineers football team will put their hours of practice to work on the field, kicking off the 2022 season on Thursday, Sept. 1 at Pitt. • West Virginia Tattoo Expo | August 19-21, Noon
The 8th Annual West Virginia Tattoo Expo is here! Open to the public, and kids under 12 are free with a paying adult. Spend a night at the Morgantown Marriott at Waterfront Place to enjoy all the events. There will be on-site tattooing and piercing from more than 200 artists, contests, a Miss Tattooed West Virginia pageant, vendors, and so much more at the Morgantown Marriott at Waterfront Place hotel.
• WV Vintage Fest | August 21, Noon – 8 p.m.
Support more than 30 local vintage artists and vendors at the WV Vintage Fest with vintage clothing, sneakers and food. Walk through the fest for free to enjoy all vendors as they show off their creations. Enjoy a day of arts, shopping and fun! Located at Edith Barill Riverfront Park in Star City beginning at noon.
• Taste of Morgantown | August 27, 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.
The 12th annual Taste of Morgantown is a great way to support local businesses and stay outside as fall approaches. Celebrate food vendors across Morgantown and vote for the best. Combining food, festivity and philanthropy, there will not be an empty stomach in site!
• Del Castillo | September 2, 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
The 2022 Ruby Summer Concert Series presents Del Castillo. Enjoy live music from Del Castillo, a Latin rock band, for a free Friday night concert on the river. With blends of flamenco, rock and blues, this original music rocks righteously. Opening this concert is a band that has toured around the continent, Fran Vielma & His Venezuelan Jazz Collective.
